The Taunton Fire Department consists of 2 stations covering a variety of residential and commercial buildings. Currently operating with 2 engines, a light rescue, a special operations trailer, and soon a 107-foot Pierce ariel device. With a focus on health and wellness, Taunton offers a freshly renovated station 1 including a fitness room and new equipment to keep all members in shape and safe while performing training and operating on emergency scenes.
Why Our Department
Taunton is always focused on the members who take time out of their personal lives to help the department and the community. There are frequent membership outings such as Syracuse Mets games, Syracuse Football, and Syracuse Crunch. We also provide meals while on shift, training at no cost to the members and updated uniforms to wear while on duty and at public events.
